Who we are
Produp Ltd is the organisation responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Produp Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 13737145.
You can contact us about privacy at contact@produp.co.uk.
Information we collect
If you contact Produp by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, role and the contents of your message. We also receive the technical information normally attached to an email.
DreamHost provides the website hosting and business email. Website hosting may create limited technical logs needed to deliver, secure and diagnose the service, such as an IP address, request time, browser information and requested page. Emailing Produp also means the message and associated technical information are processed through DreamHost's email service.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and understand whether Produp may be able to help;
- discuss, plan and manage prospective or active business engagements;
- operate, secure and diagnose the website and enquiry route;
- keep appropriate business and legal records; and
- meet legal, regulatory or professional obligations.
Our reasons for using information
Depending on the circumstances, Produp relies on:
- steps taken at your request before entering into a contract;
- Produp's legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, developing client relationships and operating a secure business website; or
- a legal obligation that applies to Produp.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the purpose, necessity and effect on the people concerned.
Who we share information with
We use DreamHost to provide website hosting and business email. DreamHost processes information to provide and secure those services. We may also share information with professional advisers, public authorities or other parties where this is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights, meet an obligation, or progress an engagement with your knowledge.
We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
DreamHost may process personal information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States and other countries where it or its subprocessors operate. Where personal information is transferred internationally, Produp relies on an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards, including DreamHost's contractual commitments where relevant. You can contact us for more information about those safeguards.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and business information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, decide whether to work together, manage an engagement, meet legal or accounting requirements, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The period therefore depends on the status and purpose of the record. We review the information and delete or anonymise it when there is no continuing reason to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask Produp for access to your personal information, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a portable copy. These rights are not absolute and may depend on the reason the information is being used.
To make a request, email contact@produp.co.uk. We may need enough information to confirm your identity and understand the request.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.

The site uses only technologies that are necessary to deliver and secure the pages you request. It does not use optional analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.

We may update this notice when the website, enquiry route or use of personal information changes. The latest version will appear on this page with its update date.
